One Home for Everything I Write

I have constantly struggled with my writing “identity”.

There are so many things I want to write about: information security, technology, philosophy, overcoming the fear of death…it’s a long list.

To solve this problem, I’ll be posting everything here in one form or another, following the POSSE (opens in new tab) method of publishing, a.k.a. “publish (on your) own site, syndicate elsewhere”:

1. If I wrote for personal purposes, it will be here, and will be republished to Substack (opens in new tab) for people who want that over RSS/Atom feeds.
2. If I wrote for one of my other publications (like Empiric Security (opens in new tab)), it will appear here as an original and there as a copy.
3. If I wrote for someone else’s publication, it’ll be posted here as a link post with an archive.org link in case the live content ever disappears.

This is mainly so following and interacting is easier while maintaining my digital ownership. If sites ever disappear or become paywalled, you can always access versions of the content on my site (unless I’m the one who removes it, of course). Not everyone is going to set up an RSS reader, and that’s fine.
